Sandra Bozic Meets with UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia

Sandra Bozic, member of the National Assembly Delegation to IPU, received, on behalf of National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic, UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia and Special Coordinator for Refugees and Migrant Response in Europe Afshan Khan and Director of UNICEF Serbia Regina De Dominicis.

The officials underlined the importance of the National Assembly’s cooperation with UNICEF so far as well as its further improvement in the interest of the position of children and child rights in Serbia, with a special focus on the work of the Committee on the Rights of the Child.

Bozic and Khan agreed that it is of paramount importance to mark the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
