Roundtable Held as Part of Judicial Reform and Government Accountability Project
Yesterday, the National Assembly and USAID Judicial Reform and Government Accountability (JRGA) Project organised a roundtable for the MPs and the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality.
The roundtable was also attended by the representatives of the National Assembly Secretariat, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues, Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Committee on Human and Minority Rights and Gender Equality, Committee on Labour, Social Issues, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction, Health and Family Committee, Committee on the Rights of the Child and representatives of the Equality Protection Commissioner’s office.
The participants discussed the experience gathered from the work done so far, submission of regular and special reports, report reviews, adoption of conclusions, observance of recommendations, as well as specific topics of interest for some of the committees. They adopted concrete conclusions and identified the steps to be undertaken in the future to improve the efficiency of the cooperation which will be realised with the support of the JRGA team.
