In the course of the visit, the delegation had a meeting with the vice-chairmen of the EU Affairs Committee Andrej Kolesik and Ivan Stefanec.

In the course of the meetings the officials drew attention to the exceptionally good cooperation between the Republic of Slovakia and the Republic of Serbia, the fact that the Slovak Parliament was the first of the European Union member states to ratify the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, and that the Republic of Slovakia supports the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia in which it intends to remain consistent. They also discussed the possible improvement of economic and other types of cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the excellent cooperation as regards the status and rights of the Slovak national minority in the Republic of Serbia

The meetings also focused on the very good cooperation between the parliaments of the Republic of Slovakia and the Republic of Serbia which opens up room to improve cooperation in other spheres. National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic invited the Slovak Parliament Deputy Speaker and the delegation of the Slovak EU Affairs Committee to pay a return visit to the NARS i.e. the European Integration Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
