Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina Parliamentary Finance Services Visit National Assembly

National Assembly Support Service staff met with representatives of the Bosnia and Herzegovina parliamentary finance services, currently in a two-day visit to the National Assembly.


Assistant Secretary General Mirjana Nedeljkovic and Assistant Secretary General and Legislative Sector Chief Mirjana Radakovic addressed their colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina on the behalf of the National Assembly Support Service. They informed the guests about the organization and mode of operation of the Support Service stressing that it completed its tasks with the utmost professionalism, efficiency, political neutrality and without bias.

The representatives of the parliaments exchanged experiences and views on the adoption of the budget, budgetary autonomy and the internal audit system.

The delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, headed by the Secretary of the Common Services of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ferid Buljubasic, comprised representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, National Assembly of the Republic of Srpska and Brcko District Assembly.

Maja Pavlovic, Chief of the Budget Planning, Standard, Analysis and Reporting Section, Dara Kupusinac Popovic, Independent Officer at the Budgetary, Financial and Accounting and Public Procurement Affairs Department, Aleksandra Saso, Secretary of the Committeeon Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending, and Internal Auditor Branislava Lukac also spoke with the guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The study visit, organized with the assistance of the Bosnia and Herzegovina OSCE Mission, aims to help the exchange of experience between similar services and is one of the mechanisms for the development of the services’ capacities, as well as an opportunity to additionally strengthen regional parliamentary cooperation.
