Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja High-School Students Receive Scholarships

The Chairman of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, Zoran Babic, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, and the President of the Serbian Government’s Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, presented a number of high-school students from the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja with scholarships and wished them success in their further education.


On the behalf of National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, the students were addressed by the Chairman of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues, Zoran Babic, who told them that the scholarships are an important step toward better education and assured them that they would always have a sympathetic ear and a friend in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
Congratulating the students, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic said he hoped that they would continue their education at university, stressing that education, as an individual’s greatest asset, has no limits. The President of the Government’s Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, wished the students to continue their education in their municipalities, thus contributing to their own development and the development of the communities they come from.
This year, the scholarships of the Service of the Government’s Coordination Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja were awarded to 231 high-school students from these municipalities.
