Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Holds Two Meetings

The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic met with the executive director of Stankom A.

The Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic met with the executive director of Stankom A.D. Tijana Ratkovic to discuss the petition of the Association of 1000 damaged parties and gain a more complete view of the situation and possible solutions to the several-year old problem of the flat buyers, members of the Association of 1000 damaged parties.

Committee Chairman Sasa Dujovic also received the representatives of the Local community office Vreoci, Municipality of Lazarevac. They informed him that, due to the extension of the mining basin Kolubara D.O.O., the population of the local community and the local cemetery were being relocated contrary to the Expropriation Law and Burial and Cemetery Law. According to them, the relocation is not being conducted according to plan as the new location lacks the infrastructure for it and at the same time the buildings (residential and commercial) are being devalued by the low buyout offers. In addition, the cemetery is supposed to be relocated to an undesirable location even before the population of the local community is relocated. Since their appeals have fallen on deaf ears at the Municipal Assembly of Lazarevac they approached all the competent state authorities.

At the end of the meeting, Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Sasa Dujovic concluded that the Committee would take the appropriate steps, within its power and competence, to resolve the issue.
