Petitions and Proposals Committee Chairman Holds Several Meetings

Yesterday in Belgrade, the Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic received the representatives of the village of Ranilug from Kosovo Morava valley.



Yesterday in Belgrade, the Chairman of the Committee on Petitions and Proposals Sasa Dujovic received the representatives of the village of Ranilug from Kosovo Morava valley. A group of 134 villagers forwarded a petition to the Committee on Petitions and Proposals complaining of the local authorities i.e. the Director of the Republic Health Insurance Institute – Gnjilane branch office. The Committee Chairman said that he shall forward the petition to the Vranje Prosecutors Office, Gnjilane Police Office and Republic Health Insurance Institute. The Committee service shall monitor the feedback from these institutions so as to assist the villagers of Ranilug.

The Committee Chairman also talked to Nevena Petrusic, Equality Commissioner, and UNDP representative to Serbia Davor Salom. They agreed on the future cooperation between the National Assembly and regulatory institutions which would start by a roundtable comprising the commissioners from all spheres in order to gain insight into the possibilities for a concentrated action aimed at more efficient assistance to the citizens.
