Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkey Meets with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkey Zoran Babic and Group members met today at the National Assembly with the Turkish Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Mehmet Kemal Bozay.
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Turkey, Zoran Babic, highlighted the importance of economic, military and political cooperation between Serbia and Turkey, hoping for a boost in Turkish investments into Serbia in the future.
Ambassador Bozay presented the cornerstones of cooperation between the two countries to the PFG members, underlining the importance of economic cooperation between the Balkan states and Turkey. Ambassador Bozay said that the development of economic and cultural ties between the two countries would be the priorities of his diplomatic mission in Serbia, opining that Serbia and Belgrade have the potential to develop medical and congress tourism.
Both sides agreed that there is ample room to further cooperation between Serbia and Turkey on all levels and pursue joint projects in the future.
