One More Piece of National Assembly Furniture Found in Arandjelovac

In response to the appeal to help recover the artwork and objects which had disappeared from the National Assembly House on 5 October 2000, one more valuable piece of furniture was found and returned to the National Assembly.

The piece in question is an armchair found in the Progoreoci Local Community building, Municipality of Arandjelovac. We would like to thank the President of the Local Community Milija Vasic and the MP of the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group Milosav Milojevic from Arandjelovac for helping in the recovery of the misappropriated National Assembly property.

We would like to take this opportunity to again appeal to the citizens with any information on the whereabouts of the artwork or any other artefacts belongings to the Serbian Parliament to call in and help us recover Serbia’s cultural heritage in full.
