Ninth Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 23 February 2021, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Determination of Property Origin and Special Tax, submitted by the Government.

Vladimir Vins, representative of the Ministry of Justice, said that some of the provisions of the Law on Determination of Property Origin and Special Tax, adopted in February 2020 and about to go into force in March 2021, need to be amended to eliminate potential problems that might emerge in its enforcement.

Following a brief discussion, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept said Bill.

The Committee went on to consider the amendment to Article 11 of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Determination of Property Origin and Special Tax, submitted by MP Vladimir Djukanovic and decided to propose that the National Assembly accept said amendment.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Daniel Gyivánovity, Vesna Krisanov, Toma Fila, Velibor Milojicic, Sanja Jefic Brankovic, Djordje Dabic, Nenad Baros, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and Dragan M. Markovic.
