The Committee members considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol of 1988 relating to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974, submitted by the Government; Bill amending the Law on Special Conditions for the Realisation of the Housing Construction Project for Members of the Security Forces, submitted by the Government, in principle; Bill on the Termination of the Validity of the Law on Special Procedures for the Implementation of the Project of Construction and Reconstruction Line Infrastructure Structures of Particular Importance to the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government, in principle; Bill on Confirmation of the amendments and modifications to the Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs and on the Special Equipment to be used for such Carriage (ATP), submitted by the Government, and the Bill amending the Building Legalisation Law, submitted by the Government, in principle.

The bills were presented by Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic. Following a discussion, the Committee accepted all the abovementioned bills.

The Committee went on to adopt the Decision to organise a public hearing on the topic: “Presentation of the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction”, to be held on 18 July 2023 in the Small Hall of the National Assembly House, at noon. All the members and deputy members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications are invited, as well as the heads of the National Assembly parliamentary groups, representatives of the National Assembly committees, representatives of the relevant ministry of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, representatives of the professional public and civil society organisations.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milija Miletic, Tomislav Jankovic, Ivana Nikolic, Nikola Nesic, Marina Lipovac Tanaskovic, Dragan Jovanovic, Bojan Torbica, Dragovan Milinkovic, Marija Jovanovic, Ivana Srbulovic, Djordje Todorovic, Dejan Injatovic, Predrag Marsenic and Jasmina Karanac, as well as MP Radmila Vasic who is not member of the Committee.
