Ninth Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 3 Juny 2024, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Prof. Dr Rejhan Kurtovic, Ivana Nikolic and Dr Vladimir Orlic.

The Committee ascertained that the situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs which lists resignation as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the MP’s term of office and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the term of office of said MPs.

The Committee also considered the requests submitted by MPs Boris Bajic, Dr Branko M. Vujkovic and Nikola Lazic and gave them a positive response to assume another public post.

The Committee members went on to consider the Secretary General’s notifications concerning the measures to maintain order issued at the Second Sitting of the First Regular Session, held on 24 May 2024.

The Committee also reviewed the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission, adopted the Report on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly of 1 July 2024 allocating a term of office to MP Aleksandra Tomic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bojan Torbica, Zoran Stojanovic, Goran Milic, Marko Milosevic, Dr Dragana Rakic, Branko Lukic, Igor Jaksic, Dane Stanojcic, Branimir Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic, Jelena Milosevic, Uros Djokic, Stefan Janic, Olja Petrovic, Aleksandar Jugovic and Stefan Kitanovic.
