The Committee ascertained that the resignation tendered by MP Andreja Mladenovic, elected from the Electoral List ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – SERBIA IS WINNING, falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, and thus proposes that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office.

This enables the election of a new MP by allocation of a term of office to another candidate from the abovementioned Electoral List.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: MA Aleksandra Jerkov, Petar Petrovic, Aleksandar Markovic, Borisav Kovacevic, Djordje Milicevic, Marko Zeljug, Goran Nikolic and Branka Stamenkovic.
