On the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic expressed her belief that Serbian citizens would not forget any tragic events suffered by innocent civilians due to their national, religious, political or ethical distinctiveness.

The continuity of crime in recent history is contrary to the progressive civilisational legacies and it is the duty of all state bodies, and all Serbian citizens to oppose any form of criminal activity.

Through their activities in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, by creating an atmosphere of peace, understanding and active dialogue, the deputies lead by example and oppose all types of crime against innocent civilians.
