National Assembly Speaker at Promotion of “Guide to Europe 2020 Strategy"
“It is important to know that Europe 2020 focuses on youth on the move, that none of its members can remain an “energy island” after 2015, that the future of the economy lies in competitiveness based on innovation”, stressed the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic opening the promotion of the publication “Guide to Europe 2020 Strategy” of the European Movement in Serbia.

The National Assembly Speaker declared the “Guide to Europe 2020 Strategy" an excellent tool “which will help us remain on the European road, understand the processes in the EU and help ourselves by our own purposeful action, at the same time becoming a functional member of the family we see as our natural one."
Speaking at the promotion of the “Guide to Europe 2020 Strategy", Slavica Djukic Dejanovic said that she was particularly glad “that the promotion of this guide is one of the first big events at the National Assembly this year and that the period before us would be dedicated to European integration”.
The publication “Guide to Europe 2020 Strategy" aims to provide a list of priorities, instruments and mechanisms for the implementation and monitoring of the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy, vital activities of EU candidate states, as well as activities in Serbia necessary for an efficient preparation and defining of national goals for future participation in the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategy.
