National Assembly Speaker Visits Zlatibor

Today, on Zlatibor, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic opened the Tenth School of European Law organised by the Center for European Union Law from Kragujevac.



Today, on Zlatibor, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic opened the Tenth School of European Law organised by the Center for European Union Law from Kragujevac. She lectured on the “Importance of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between Serbia and the European Union for Serbia”. The Assembly Speaker strongly stressed that the Republic of Serbia is clearly determined to approach the European Union, emphasising the priorities in the implementation of the Agreement, and pointed out the direct benefit to Serbian citizens from the accession to the EU.

During her stay on Zlatibor, Assembly Speaker Djukic Dejanovic met with Dr Rajko Kuzmanovic, the President of the Republic of Srpska. In an open and friendly dialogue, the officials exchanged experiences and talked in favour of an intesification of economic and other cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska, primarily through parliamentary cooperation.
