National Assembly Speaker Visits Vojvodina Rural Women’s Exhibition
Today, in Novi Sad, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, visited an exhibition titled “Creativity of Rural Women in Vojvodina”, commemorating the International Day of Rural Women.
Today, in
Assembly Speaker Djukic-Dejanovic looked at the displayed work of 450 women from 150 rural associations in 40 Vojvodina municipalities. She talked to the women who had exhibited their art and craft and admired their creativity and imagination.
At the end of the visit, the NARS Speaker advised them to take pride in their skills, cultivate and develop them and contribute to create a more realistic image of the position of women in rural areas.
