National Assembly Speaker Talks to Montenegrin President

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, received today the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, received today the President of Montenegro Filip Vujanovic. The main topics of conversation were the role of parliament in political life and parliamentary cooperation between the two states.

Furthering cooperation, particularly between the two parliaments, was deemed a good way to reach the mutual goal of integration in the European family of countries.

President Vujanovic pointed out that Montenegro is interested in establishing and intensifying parliamentary cooperation.

Assembly Speaker Djukic-Dejanovic focused on the need, potential and modalities of parliamentary cooperation and invited the Parliamentary Speaker of Montenegro to visit Serbia.
