National Assembly Speaker Talks to Ivana Maksimovic

National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic received Ivana Maksimovic today, winner of the 100th medal for Serbia at the London Olympic Games.


Speaker Stefanovic again congratulated Ivana on winning silver in the rifle three positions category, which was also the 100th medal won for Serbia at this year’s Olympic Games in London. On the occasion, the Speaker stressed that we should not remember out sports shooters only when they win a medal and achieve success, adding that the state should care more about those who are the country’s bright stars. The Speaker wished Ivana success in future championships.

Ivana Maksimovic said that she was dedicated to future competitions where she hopes to achieve even better results for her country.

Ivana Maksimovic has been a sports shooter since 2002 and is a multiple state champion, declared an Olympic hope three years running and a multiple winner of the Shooter of the Year award.
