National Assembly Speaker Signs Condolence Book, MPs Begin Sitting With Minute of Silence

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic signed the Book of Condolences opened at the French Embassy to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris.

Gojkovic wrote:

“Allow me to extend sincerest condolences on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself to the families of the innocent victims in France.

I am convinced that nothing will prevent the citizens of France to persevere in their fight for their and European values of freedom, equality and justice for all!

Like so many times before the Serbian people will stand shoulder to shoulder with their French friends. Long live France, long live freedom!”

The MPs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia began today’s sitting with a minute of silence to honour the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris.
