National Assembly Speaker Sends Telegrams of Condolences to French Assembly and Senate Speakers

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic sent telegrams of condolences to the Speaker of the French National Assembly Claude Bartolone and the Speaker of the Senate Gerard Larcher on the terrorist attacks in Paris.

“We were deeply shocked by the news of the series of terrorist attacks, which we condemn most severely, and the death of so many innocent people. On the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, please allow me to extend our deepest condolences.

In this terrible moment we share the pain of the French people and extend full solidarity and dedication to defend peace and life from extremism and mindlessness. I am sure that unity and resolve to defend civilizational values will prevail over violence.

Please accept our friendly support in these difficult times and convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and hopes that the wounded will soon recover.”
