National Assembly Speaker Receives Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia in Fare-Well Visit
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia Oleksandr Aleksandrovych in fare-well visit today.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic thanked Ambassador Aleksandrovych for his cooperation in the past six years and contribution to strengthening relations between the two countries. He said that Serbia and Ukraine enjoy traditionally friendly relations and should continue working on the development of bilateral relations. Speaking of the current situation, the National Assembly Speaker said he hoped the tensions would soon abate and that all the problems would be resolved through dialogue.
Ambassador Aleksandrovych agreed that Serbia and Ukraine should work on furthering and strengthening their traditionally friendly ties.
The officials also spoke about the cooperation between the National Assembly and the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada, agreeing to, after the elections in Serbia, organise reciprocal visits between the parliamentary friendship groups and consider an exchange of visits at the level of parliament speakers.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic wished Ambassador Aleksandrovych a successful continuation of his career.
