National Assembly Speaker Receives Romanian Parliamentary Delegation

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic received a delegation of the Romanian Parliamentary Committee for Romanian Communities Living Abroad. The delegation was headed by Gabriel Brinza, Committee Chairperson.

The officials spoke of the position of the Romanian minority in Serbia, as well as the Serbian minority in Romania. The position of both minorities in both countries is satisfactory, but interstate dialogue should be continued so as to find new cooperation modalities in the sphere. The Speaker expressed gratitude for Romania’s principled position regarding Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

Gabriel Brinza conveyed an invitation to Slavica Djukic Dejanovic to visit the Romanian Parliament.
