National Assembly Speaker Receives Gold Plaque
A delegation of the Serbian Association for Criminal Law Theory and Practice presented the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic with a Gold Plaque for her assistance to and support of the Association’s work and its affirmation
Presenting the National Assembly Speaker with the award, academician Prof. Dr Stanko Bejatovic said that this was the first Gold Plaque awarded by the Serbian Association for Criminal Law Theory and Practice in the 50 years of its existence. Bejatovic stressed that the plaque was also significant because it was being awarded to somebody with no legal training who has greatly contributed to the affirmation of the Association.
Speaker Djukic Dejanovic thanked the Association for the Gold Plaque, stating that nowhere are medicine and law so finely connected as in criminal law and added that the recognition presents an excellent obligation for further cooperation.
They deemed that the two-day international scientific conference International Criminal law Cooperation and European Integration in Belgrade which the National Assembly Speaker opened, has launched a series of specific expert issues and demonstrated the importance of regional and European cooperation.
