National Assembly Speaker Receives ”Selecting the Host of Serbia” National Foundation Initiative Committee Representatives
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the representatives of the Initiative Committee of the ”Selecting the Host of Serbia”
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the representatives of the Initiative Committee of the ”Selecting the Host of Serbia” National Foundation: Zoran Masic, Sinisa Stamenkovic, Munir Poturak, Zoran Bortic, Zeljko Brestovacki and the editor of “Selo“ magazine Milorad Dobric.
The representatives of the Initiative Committee briefed the National Assembly Speaker on the idea behind the ”Selecting the Host of Serbia” Foundation which would promote the village and Serbian peasants. The idea, according to the representatives of the Initiative Committee, was endorsed by the Agriculture Committee, Holy Synod, Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian Academy of Science and Art.
National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic endorsed the idea to create the Foundation as an idea aimed at revitalizing Serbian villages. It was concluded that contacts with the Chamber of Commerce and vocational association would be beneficial.
