National Assembly Speaker Meets with Polish Sejm Deputy Marshal

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Deputy Marshal of the Polish Sejm Malgorzata Gosiewska.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic said that Serbia and Poland are friendly countries whose political and economic relations should be brought to the same level. He added that in the previous posts he held he enjoyed excellent cooperation with his Polish colleagues and expressed readiness to contribute to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments in his capacity as National Assembly Speaker. He thanked Poland for the support it provides Serbia in the European integration process.

Deputy Marshal Gosiewska expressed satisfaction with visiting Serbia for the second time in such a short period and agreed that we should work on strengthening relations across the board. She invited the Serbian MPs to come and visit the Polish parliament soon.
