National Assembly Speaker Meets with Palestinian Foreign Minister
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine Riyad al-Maliki.
Minister al-Maliki agreed that the relations between Serbia and Palestine are traditionally friendly and thanked the National Assembly Speaker for his personal contribution to their development and advancement. Speaking of Kosovo-Metohija, he assured the host that Palestine’s position on the matter would not change. He added that the excellent political relations should be accompanied by a development of economic cooperation, hoping that the idea of establishing a joint committee for economic cooperation, which the officials had discussed at an earlier time, would soon be realised.
