National Assembly Speaker Meets with Non-Resident Armenian Ambassador

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with non-resident Armenian Ambassador Ashot Hovakimyan.

The National Assembly Speaker said that Serbia and Armenia are friendly countries that enjoy excellent bilateral relations, adding that he stood ready to work on their further development in his capacity as the National Assembly Speaker, by strengthening parliamentary cooperation.

The officials discussed the activities of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Armenia, agreeing that and exchange of visits at the level of head and members of parliament would contribute to the improvement of overall relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Hovakimyan conveyed the invitation of the Armenian Parliament Speaker to National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic to soon come and visit Armenia.
