National Assembly Speaker Meets with Austrian Ambassador to Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Republic of Serbia Nikolaus Lutterotti.

In the course of the meeting they discussed the current Serbian-Austrian relations, as well as activities in the field of parliamentary cooperation planned for the upcoming period. Among other things, the officials discussed National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic’s coming visit to the Republic of Austria at the invitation of Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the Austrian National Council.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic will be in Vienna on 11 June where he will meet with Wolfgang Sobotka, President of the Austrian National Council, as well as Christian Buchmann, President of the Austrian Federal Council.

The officials agreed that the upcoming visit will significantly contribute to the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and the improvement of overall bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Austria.
