National Assembly Speaker Meets Foster Women from Milosevac
“Milosevac is famous for the fact that, thanks to its foster women, 4500 people have gained the status of well-educated and brought up citizens, enjoying a comfortable living from their work”, said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, addressing the women from Milosevac.
The National Assembly Speaker hosted the foster women from the Family Housing Centre, representatives of the Municipal women’s collective and the Circle of Serbian Sisters from the village. Djukic Dejanovic was pleased to hear that the foster families in Milosevac are currently taking care of 180 children. “The manner in which you bring up the children demonstrates that you have a heart open to understanding and love for those who lack it”, said the Speaker.
