National Assembly Speaker Lays Wreath at Radomir Putnik’s Tomb
The National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, laid a wreath at the tomb of the Serbian commander and Army Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Serbia in World War One, Radomir Putnik, at the New Cemetery in Belgrade, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Balkan Wars.
On the occasion, the Assembly Speaker said:
“Commander Radomir Putnik was one of the most important figures in recent Serbian history, a military strategist whose decisions were pivotal for our country and our people. He deserves eternal glory, and Serbia deserves eternal peace and stability which it wishes to build with everyone in the region”.
