National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with UK Ambassador to Serbia

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with UK Ambassador to Serbia Sian MacLeod.

The National Assembly Speaker and Ambassador MacLeod talked about Ivica Dacic’s recent participation in the parliamentary meeting within the UN Climate Change Conference, organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the UK delegation in November in Glasgow. On the sidelines of this event, National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic met with the speakers of both houses of the UK Parliament.

Ambassador MacLeod gave a positive assessment of the participation in the events held within the UN Climate Change Conference, as well as the fact that Serbia joined numerous declarations, which testifies to the country’s proactive approach and desire to participate in solving the global problem.

In the course of the meeting, the officials also discussed improving bilateral cooperation, especially in the segment of parliamentary cooperation.
