National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko

Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko.

In the course of the meeting the officials discussed National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic’s upcoming visit to the Russian Federation at the invitation of the Speaker of the Russian Federal Assembly’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic will begin the official visit to the Russian Federation on Monday 31 May 2021 with a meeting with Russian State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and the Chairperson of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko. In the course of the visit to the Russian Federation, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia will address the members of the State Duma.

The officials agreed that the coming visit will greatly contribute to the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, as well as overall bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation
