National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Meets with Polish Ambassador Rafal Perl
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Serbia H.E. Rafal Perl and on the occasion expressed the desire to continue deepening and strengthening parliamentary cooperation, which the activities of the parliamentary friendship groups, Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as an exchange of high-level parliamentary visits would doubtlessly contribute to. He also expressed the desire to be the host to Polish colleagues, as well as to pay an official visit Poland.
The Polish Ambassador agreed with all of the above, stressing that Sejm Deputy Speaker Malgorzata Gosiewska is planned to come by the end of the week to attend the unveiling of the memorial to the Polish airmen killed in WWII in Senta.
National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic went on to say that he was satisfied with the two countries’ cooperation through the Visegrad Group’s contacts with the Western Balkans, stressing that, in addition to bilateral contacts, the intensification of ties also requires cooperation within international organisations.
