National Assembly Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic in Official Visit to Hungary

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic will be in official visit to Hungary from 7 to 9 October 2013.


The National Assembly Speaker will be taking part in the Euro-Atlantic Conference of Parliament Speakers of Western Balkan Countries in Budapest. The Conference will be jointly chaired by the Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, László Kövér, and NARS Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic.

The session will, among other topics, address EU integration: results and aspirations, and NARS Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic will address the participants at the beginning of the Conference and then proceed to chair the proceedings.

In the course of his visit to Budapest, Speaker Stefanovic will have separate meetings with Hungarian President János Áder, Hungarian Parliament Speaker László Kövér, Speaker Stefanovic’s official host, and Hungarian Foreign Minister János Martonyi.

National Assembly Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic will also meet with the leader of the Fidesz parliamentary group at the Hungarian Parliament, Antal Rogán, and representatives of the diaspora in Hungary.
