National Assembly Speaker Convenes Fourth Sitting of the First Regular Session in 2017

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Forth Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2017, for Thursday, 18 May, proposing six items for the agenda.


The National Assembly Speaker proposed that the Assembly consider the Bill amending the Law on Deposit Insurance and the Bill amending the Law on the Deposit Insurance Agency, submitted by the Government of Serbia.

The National Assembly will also be deliberating on the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of German Development Bank KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main, to settle the debt of Electric Power Industry of Serbia Public Enterprise, Belgrade (Project “Modernization of the Ash Disposal System of Thermal Power Plant Nikola Tesla A”) and the Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of German Development Bank KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main, to settle the debt of “Elektromreza Srbije” Joint Stock Company (Regional programme of energy efficiency in the transmission system).

The agenda will also contain the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group and the Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Standing Delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to International Parliamentary Institutions, submitted by the National Assembly Speaker.

The sitting will be held in the Grand Hall of the National Assembly House at 10 am.
