National Assembly Speaker Congratulates Ramadan Bayram

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic congratulated Ramadan Bayram to Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia Adem Zilkic and Muslim believers.

Esteemed Haji Reis,

On the behalf of the MPs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, I wish a happy Ramadan Bayram to You, all the clergy and Islamic believers.

I hope in the time to come we shall find strength to overcome all difficulties by adhering to tradition and spiritual values, and that the spirit of tolerance and mutual understanding will prevail in everyday life. Religious heritage teaches us to create an ambience respectful of religion and human beings, preserving and cultivating the wealth of differences with an open mind and heart.

May you spend the upcoming holidays in spiritual peace and health, with faith in a better future.

Sincerely,

Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic

Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia
