National Assembly Speaker Ana Brnabic Receives US Ambassador Christopher Hill in Farewell Visit


The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic met today with US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill.

Ambassador Hill informed Speaker Brnabic that his mandate in Serbia is coming to an end and that this will be their last meeting in their current posts.

Brnabic wished Ambassador Hill all the best in the future, thanking him for his engagement on building better relations between Serbia and the US. The Parliament Speaker said that she exceptionally appreciated the Ambassador’s courage and personal integrity, opining that his work had greatly contributed to a better understanding between Serbia and the US.

Hill thanked Brnabic for the excellent cooperation they enjoyed in the previous years, hoping that Serbia would continue on the road to reform and economy prosperity, so as to improve the living standards of all the citizens of Serbia.

Brnabic and Hill expressed the belief that Serbia will continue to deepen cooperation and strengthen its relationship with the US as one of its most important foreign policy partners.
