National Assembly Secretary General Jana Ljubicic at EU Parliaments Secretaries General Meeting in Nicosia
National Assembly Secretary General Jana Ljubicic will take part in the meeting of Secretaries General of the Parliaments of European Union member states, on 10 and 11 February 2013, in Nicosia, Cyprus.
The meeting is part of the preparations for the next Conference of Presidents of Parliament of EU member states, which is in turn part of the parliamentary dimension of the Cypriot presidency of the EU Council.
The report on the progress of the implementation of the conclusions of the previous Conference of Presidents of Parliament of EU member states will be presented at the meeting, as would the draft programme for the next conference of parliamentary presidents, to be held in Cyprus, from 21 to 23 April 2013, and the IPEX annual report.
Having gained the status of EU candidate member, Serbia has been invited to take part in all the meetings of the parliamentary dimension of the cooperation between EU member states, in that capacity.
