National Assembly Deputy Speaker Stefan Krkobabic Meets with Centre for Social Research Representatives

Today, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the Vice President of the PUPS - Solidarity and Justice Party Stefan Krkobabic hosted representatives of the Centre for Social Research from Belgrade, with whom he discussed the development of democracy and social justice in our society.

"Today, I had the privilege to talk to the representatives of the renowned institution Centre for Social Research. We broached a whole range of topics covered by their, scientifically based research and activism, as well as our political activities such as social entrepreneurship, guaranteed social pensions, care for the elderly and intergenerational solidarity, workers' rights and assistance to young people in rural communities. I am glad that we reached an agreement on them and that we will work together on their realization in practice, "said Stefan Krkobabic.

He stressed that PUPS is a solidarity and justice party whose name makes it clear what principles it is committed to, adding that for it, cooperation with the Centre for Social Research is both a great honour and an obligation.

"There is no solidarity or social justice without democracy, nor democracy without solidarity and social justice. Our vision of Serbia as a democratic and socially just society is a common one, the ways in which we realize it in practice are different, but complementary, and I am glad that the time has come for them to meet. That is why I have no doubt the cooperation with the Centre for Social Research would yield concrete and fruitful results in the near future," Stefan Krkobabic concluded.
