National Assembly Delegation at European Parliamentary Week in Brussels

National Assembly delegation comprising European Integration Committee Chairman Nenad Canak and MP Zarko Micin is taking part in the European Parliamentary Week (EPW) held on the premises of the European Parliament in Brussels, on 19 and 20 February.

The forum organised by the European Parliament alongside the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Presidency Member State, is attended by parliamentarians from all the EU member states and their representatives in the European Parliament. The representatives of the National Assembly and the other the candidate states are taking part in the event as observers.

The European Parliamentary week will cover two conferences: the European Semester Conference on Monday, 19 February and the Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union on Tuesday, 20 February.

European Semester 2018 will cover interparliamentary meetings of the EP Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, Committee on Employment and Social Affairs and the Committee on Budgets.

The Interparliamentary Conference on Stability, Economic Coordination and Governance in the European Union will be co-chaired by the President of the European Parliament Antonio Tajani and the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Tsveta Karayancheva, and the participants will be addressed by European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker.
