The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, sent a telegram of condolences to Wu Bangguo, Chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress, after the plane crash in Yichun city on Tuesday, 24 August 2010.

“It was with sadness and regret that I received the news of the plane crash in northeastern China. Allow me to extend our deepest sympathies to you and the families of the victims on the behalf of the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself”, states the telegram.
