NARS Speaker Congratulates RS President and BiH Presidency

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic sent a letter of congratulations to the newly-elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic, Nebojsa Radmanovic and Zeljko Komsic.



The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic sent a letter of congratulations to the newly-elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegovic, Nebojsa Radmanovic and Zeljko Komsic.

The letter of congratulations states: “It is my extreme pleasure to be able to congratulate you on the behalf of the deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and myself, on being elected members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am sure that your election will significantly contribute to both the stabilisation of the political situation in the region and the improvement of bilateral relations between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time I am sure that you shall assist us to together cultivate adherence to European values through inter-parliamentary cooperation between Serbia and BiH and continue the policy of respect and strict application of all the provisions of the Dayton Treaty, the most important document for the preservation of stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its future development.”

The Speaker also sent a telegram of congratulations to Milorad Dodik, newly-elected President of the Republic of Srpska. “It is my particular pleasure to congratulate you on the behalf of the NARS deputies and myself, on being elected President of the Republic of Srpska. Your election demonstrates that the policy you pursued as Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska not only gave positive results but confirmed the expectations of the citizens of the Republic of Srpska. I am sure that your election will lend a new quality to the special relations we cultivate and contribute to the further development both between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Srpska and the region as a whole”, says the telegram of congratulations.
