The NARS Speaker congratulated the International Day of the Roma to all Serbian citizens of Roma ethnicity.

“On the behalf of the deputies and myself, I would like to congratulate the entire Roma ethnic community in the Republic of Serbia on 8 April - International Day of the Roma. Today, as we face the consequences of the economic crisis and a high degree of poverty, I am sure the position of the Roma in Serbia remains difficult. We must do all in our power to eliminate all prejudice in education, employment, health care and housing problems. I wish that all the members of the Roma ethnicity spend the holiday in good health and with their families”, said the Assembly Speaker.
