NARS Speaker Comments on SAA Ratification by EP

Today’s ratification of the SAA by the European Parliament is very important for Serbia’s further efforts on fulfilling the conditions for full-fledged European Union membership.

Today’s ratification of the SAA by the European Parliament is very important for Serbia’s further efforts on fulfilling the conditions for full-fledged European Union membership. It is at the same time a recognition of Serbia’s efforts so far to meet all the conditions necessary to speed up the process of accession to the European Union.

The Serbian public has for a long time carefully followed not only the Government and NSRS’s efforts, but also the European Union’s reactions to all that has been achieved so far in the EU accession process. The SAA ratification by the European Parliament lends additional stimulus not only to the Government and NARS to persevere in their efforts on harmonising Serbian and European legislation, but also proves that these efforts are appreciated and encouraged.
