Memorandum on Co-operation
A delegation of the Committee on Defence and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, made up of the Committee’s chairman, Milorad Mircic, and Committee members Dusan Prorokovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Ivica Dacic, and Miroslav Zivkovic, paid a working visit to the Internal Security and Public Order Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The two parliamentary committees agreed to establish standing parliamentary co-operation in a wish to jointly contribute to the far-reaching development of neighbourly relations between the two countries, as well as to the building of democracy and fostering of rule of law.
Aware of the serious nature of challenges to the security of South-Eastern Europe, such as international terrorism, the most serious forms of organised crime, human trafficking, and drugs and weapons smuggling, the Committees underlined the importance of efficient co-operation with the international community in the field of security.
The Committees also reached full agreement in formulating concrete forms of future co-operation, and listed them in the Memorandum on Co-operation.
