Members of Parliamentary Friendship Group with Lebanon Meet with Lebanese Ambassador to Serbia
The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Lebanon met today, at the National Assembly House, with the Lebanese Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Toufic Jaber.
The Lebanese Ambassador informed the PFG members that a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia had been founded at the Lebanese Parliament, hoping that the two countries’ bilateral relations would also be raised to a higher level. Ambassador Jaber said that Lebanese businessmen were interested in investing into the development of Serbian agriculture.
The meeting also touched on the possible improvement of the two countries’ economic relations, the drafting of a cooperation plan for the two parliamentary friendship groups and a youth exchange programme between Serbia and Lebanon.
The meeting was also attended by PFG members Nada Lazic, Olena Papuga, Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic, Saip Kamberi and Dr Sulejman Ugljanin.
