The Head of the PFG with Brazil, Zika Gojkovic, expressed pleasure at the excellent bilateral relations between Serbia and Brazil, both political and economic, adding that the National Assembly MPs will spare no effort to develop them further.

The parliamentarians discussed the potentials for developing cooperation between Serbia and Brazil in the field of economy, military industry, culture and agriculture.

The members of the Brazilian delegation briefed their fellow parliamentarians on the parliamentary system in Brazil and the leading economic branches in the country. Brazilian MP Maria Victoria Barros and Vice-Governor of the Federal State of Parana Cida Borghetti informed the PFG about the activities they implement to ensure increased representation of women in the parliament and better pre-school education.

PFG members Branka Bosnjak, Milena Bicanin, Dr Jezdimir Vucetic, Ljiljana Malusic, Maden Lukic and Dragoljub Zindovic took part in the meeting with the Brazilian delegation.

The meeting was attended by Minister-Counsellor at the Brazilian Embassy Arthur Nogueira, Head of the Economics Department at the Brazilian Embassy in Belgrade Ljubomir Orlovic and representative of Jugoimport SDPR company in Brazil.
