Members of Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belgium Meet with Interparliamentary Group Belgium – Serbia
The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belgium met today, at the National Assembly House, with a delegation of the Interparliamentary Group Belgium – Serbia of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium, currently in official visit to Serbia.
The President of the Interparliamentary Group Belgium – Serbia David Geerts opined that Serbia has made considerable progress in the EU pre-accession process, stressing that Belgium strongly supports its efforts.
PFG members Dr Ljiljana Beronja, Velinka Tosic, Dr Aleksandar Peranovic, Vlado Babic and Nebojsa Tatomir highlighted the important role the parliamentary friendship groups play in deepening interparliamentary cooperation between Serbia and Belgium.
The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium in Serbia H.E. Leo D’aes.
