Ambassador Chushev commended the establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus, as well as the friendly relations between the two countries. The Belarusian Ambassador relayed the greetings of the Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia at the Belarusian Parliament and invited the Serbian Parliament’s delegation to pay an official visit to Belarus. H.E. Vladimir Chushev is sure that parliamentary cooperation will further the development of overall relations between Belarus and Serbia, especially in the spheres of economic cooperation, joint production and trade, which show the potential for further development and expansion. The Belarusian Ambassador reminded his hosts that next year Belarus and Serbia celebrate the 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group, Dragomir Karic, said that being elected Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group is a great honour and that the two countries should expand their practice of excellent cooperation into the parliamentary dimension. The members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group also added that Serbia is open to cooperation in the spheres of science, higher education, medicine and culture.
